Sahih al-Bukhari 6107 (Book 78, Hadith 134) #5863
The Importance of Correcting Oaths and Avoiding Gambling

SUMMARY: This hadith teaches us that if we make a mistake in our oaths, we should correct it by saying "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah" and if someone invites others to gamble, they must give something in charity as an expiation for such a sin.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said: "Whoever amongst you swears, (saying by error) in his oath 'By Al-Lat and Al- Uzza', then he should say, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah'. And whoever says to his companions, 'Come let me gamble' with you, then he must give something in charity (as an expiation for such a sin)".
