Sahih al-Bukhari 5770 (Book 76, Hadith 84) #5535
The Power of Allah's Permission

SUMMARY: No contagious disease is conveyed to others without Allah's permission, and no evil omen in the month of Safar or Hama.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, 'No 'Adwa (ie no contagious disease is conveyed to others without Allah's permission); nor (any evil omen in the month of) Safar; nor Hama" A bedouin said, "O Allah's Messenger ! What about the camels which, when on the sand (desert) look like deers, but when a mangy camel mixes with them they all get infected with mange?" On that Allah s Apostle said, "Then who conveyed the (mange) disease to the first (mangy) camel?"

QUICK LESSONS:
Trusting in Allah’s plan & power .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that no contagious disease is spread to others without Allah's permission. It also states that there is no evil omen in the months of Safar and Hama. A bedouin asked a question about camels getting infected with mange when a mangy camel mixes with them, and the Prophet replied by asking who conveyed the disease to the first mangy camel. This hadith teaches us that everything happens according to Allah's will, and we should not be superstitious about certain things like omens or diseases being spread from one person to another. We should trust in Allah and His plan for us, as He knows best what is good for us.
