Sahih al-Bukhari 5734 (Book 76, Hadith 49) #5500
Patience Rewarded During Plague

SUMMARY: Allah rewards those who remain patient and trust in Him during times of plague.

Narrated 'Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) that she asked Allah's Messenger about plague, and Allah's Messenger informed her saying, "Plague was a punishment which Allah used to send on whom He wished, but Allah made it a blessing for the believers. None (among the believers) remains patient in a land in which plague has broken out and considers that nothing will befall him except what Allah has ordained for him, but that Allah will grant him a reward similar to that of a martyr".

Remain Patient & Trust In God's Plan For You Even During Difficult Times Of Calamity & Adversity .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of patience and trust in Allah during difficult times. It is narrated by Aisha, the wife of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, that she asked him about plague and he informed her that it was a punishment sent by Allah on whom He wished but also a blessing for believers. The Prophet ﷺ then went on to explain that if one remains patient and trusts in what Allah has ordained for them, they will be rewarded with a reward similar to that of a martyr. This hadith teaches us the importance of having faith in Allah even when faced with difficult situations such as plague or other calamities. It also encourages us to remain patient as we know that our reward lies with Him if we do so. Furthermore, it reminds us not to lose hope even when faced with adversity as there is always something good waiting for us at the end if we stay steadfast on our faith and trust in His plan for us.
