Have faith in God even during difficult times; Be grateful for what you have been given by God; Have sincerity of intention when making prayers to God; Appreciate your home no matter where you are located; Show kindness towards others who may be feeling homesickness or displacement .

This hadith narrates the story of when the Prophet Muhammad emigrated to Medina with Abu Bakr and Bilal. When they arrived in Medina, both Abu Bakr and Bilal were suffering from a fever. Aisha visited them and asked how they were doing. Whenever Abu Bakr got a fever he would say that death was closer than his shoe laces. When Bilal recovered from his fever he would recite two poetic verses expressing his longing for Mecca. Aisha then went to tell the Prophet Muhammad about this and he prayed that Allah make them love Medina as much or more than they loved Mecca, make it healthy, bless its Sa and Mudd, take away its fever and put it in Al-Juhfa instead. This hadith teaches us that we should have faith in Allah even during difficult times like sickness or displacement because He will always answer our prayers if we are sincere in our intentions. It also teaches us to be grateful for what we have been given by Allah no matter where we are located or what situation we find ourselves in because He can always give us something better if He wills it so.
