Giving the Pledge of Allegiance

SUMMARY: The hadith is about Jarir bin 'Abdullah giving the pledge of allegiance to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) to offer prayers perfectly, pay Zakat regularly, and give good advice to every Muslim.

Narrated Jarir bin 'Abdullah: I gave the pledge of allegiance to Allah's Messenger for to offer prayers perfectly, to pay Zakat regularly, and to give good advice to every Muslim.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسٌ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عَلَى إِقَامِ الصَّلاَةِ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ، وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about Jarir bin 'Abdullah giving his pledge of allegiance to Allah's Messenger. By doing so, he promised that he would pray perfectly, pay zakat regularly and give good advice to every Muslim. Praying perfectly means that one should perform their prayers with full concentration and devotion. Paying zakat means that one should donate a certain amount of money or goods from their wealth for charity purposes as prescribed by Islamic law. Giving good advice means that one should advise others in a kind manner when they are doing something wrong or when they need guidance in life matters. This hadith teaches us the importance of fulfilling our promises and obligations towards God and other people in our lives. It also encourages us to be generous with our wealth by donating it for charitable causes as well as being kind towards others by offering them helpful advice whenever needed.
