The Story of Jamila and its Lessons

SUMMARY: This hadith is about a story of Jamila and the lessons that can be learned from it.

Narrated 'Ikrima: that Jamila. Then he related the whole ,Hadith, (ie 199).
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، أَنَّ جَمِيلَةَ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells the story of Jamila and the lessons that can be learned from it. It is narrated by 'Ikrima who was a companion of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The main lesson to be taken away from this hadith is that one should always strive to do good deeds in order to gain Allah's pleasure. Additionally, one should also strive to stay away from bad deeds as they will lead one astray and cause harm in both this world and the hereafter. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us about morality as it encourages us to treat others with kindness and respect regardless of their social status or background. Finally, this hadith also teaches us wisdom as it encourages us to think before we act so that we can make wise decisions which will benefit ourselves in both this world and the hereafter.
