Sahih al-Bukhari 5228 (Book 67, Hadith 161) #5007
Expressing Emotions through Words

SUMMARY: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) knew when Aisha was pleased or angry with him, and she would use different phrases to express her emotions.

Narrated Aisha: That Allah's Messenger said to her, "I know when you are pleased with me or angry with me". I said, "Whence do you know that?" He said, "When you are pleased with me, you say, 'No, by the Lord of Muhammad,' but when you are angry with me, then you say, 'No, by the Lord of Abraham'. " Thereupon I said, "Yes (you are right), but by Allah, O Allah's Messenger , I leave nothing but your name".

QUICK LESSONS:
Be mindful and respectful while expressing your emotions through words.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how Allah's Messenger was able to tell when Aisha was pleased or angry with him. He noticed that when she was pleased, she would say "No, by the Lord of Muhammad," and when she was angry, she would say "No, by the Lord of Abraham." This shows us that our words can be used to express our emotions. We should be careful about what we say in order to make sure we are expressing ourselves in a respectful way.
