Kindness and Generosity towards Non-Muslim Parents

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) taught us to be kind and generous to our parents, even if they are not Muslim.

Narrated 'Abdullah: I heard the Prophet saying. (as above, #550).
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، مِثْلَهُ‏.‏ تَابَعَهُ بِشْرٌ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ،‏.‏ وَتَابَعَهُ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَبْدَةَ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ، سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us the importance of being kind and generous to our parents, even if they are not Muslim. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that we should treat them with kindness and respect regardless of their faith. We should show them love and compassion as we would any other parent. We should also remember that Allah has commanded us to be good to our parents in the Quran, so it is important for us to follow this commandment no matter what religion they may practice. This hadith reminds us that kindness is a universal value that transcends religious boundaries.
