Sahih al-Bukhari 4974 (Book 65, Hadith 496) #4756
The Power of Allah's Creation

SUMMARY: Allah is the only one who has no need of anyone and He is the only one who can create and recreate.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Allah said: 'The son of Adam tells a lie against Me,, though he hasn't the right to do so. He abuses me though he hasn't the right to do so. As for his telling a lie against Me, it is his saying that I will not recreate him as I created him for the first time. In fact, the first creation was not easier for Me than new creation. As for his abusing Me, it is his saying that Allah has begotten children, while I am the One, the Self-Sufficient Master Whom all creatures need, I beget not, nor was I begotten, and there is none like unto Me".

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect for God's power, trust in his ability to do anything .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that Allah is the only one who has no need of anyone and He is the only one who can create and recreate. It was narrated by Abu Huraira, a companion of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, that Allah said that when a person tells a lie against Him or abuses Him, it means they are saying that He will not be able to recreate them as He created them for the first time. This statement implies that creating something from nothing is too difficult for God which goes against His power as Creator. In reality, creating something from nothing isn't any more difficult than recreating it again because both require an immense amount of power which only belongs to God alone. Therefore, this hadith serves as a reminder to us all about how powerful our Creator really is and how we should never doubt His abilities or try to limit Him in any way.
