This hadith is narrated by Qais bin Ubad, who recounts that Abu Dharr used to take an oath confirming that the Verse 22:19 from the Quran was Revealed in connection with Hamza and his two companions and 'Utbah and his two companions on the day when they ease out of the battle of Badr. This verse reads “These two opponents dispute with each other about their Lord”. It is believed that this verse was revealed during a battle between believers and disbelievers, which took place at Badr. The essence of this hadith is to remind us that there will always be disputes between those who believe in God, and those who do not, but ultimately it is up to God alone to decide what happens next.
