QUICK LESSONS:
Offer regular prayers especially at night

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith highlights the importance of offering Tahajjud prayer during the night. It was narrated by Ali ibn Abi Talib that one night Allah's Messenger came to him and Fatima and asked if they offered the Tahajjud prayer. Ali replied that when Allah wishes them to get up they do so. Then Prophet Muhammad recited a verse from Quran which states that man is more quarrelsome than anything else. This verse implies that man should not be lazy in worshipping Allah but instead strive to offer prayers even during late hours of night as it will bring great rewards from God Almighty. Therefore this hadith encourages us to offer prayers regularly especially at night as it will bring us closer to God and benefit us in this world and hereafter.
