QUICK LESSONS:
Be mindful of our words as they can have consequences even if we do not mean them.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the mercy of Allah and how He does not punish us for unintentional oaths. It was narrated by 'Aisha that this verse in the Quran "Allah will not punish you for what is unintentional in your oaths" (5:89) was revealed about a man's state when he said "No, by Allah," and "Yes, by Allah". This means that if we make an unintentional oath or say something without meaning it then we will not be punished by Allah. We should always be mindful of our words as they can have consequences even if we do not mean them.
