Appointment of a Ruler in Khaibar

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) appointed a man from the Ansar as the ruler of Khaibar.

Abu Sa'id and Abu Huraira said: "The Prophet made the brother of Bani Adi from the Ansar as the ruler of Khaibar.

QUICK LESSONS:
Be fair and just in your dealings with others regardless of their background or social standing.
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about how the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ appointed a man from the Ansar tribe as the ruler of Khaibar. This shows that he was fair and just in his decisions, giving people positions based on their merits rather than their social status or wealth. It also shows that he respected and valued those who had helped him during his time of need, such as when he migrated to Medina. By appointing this man to be ruler over an important city like Khaibar, it showed that he trusted him with this responsibility and believed in his capabilities. This is an important lesson for us today; we should always strive to be fair and just in our dealings with others, regardless of their background or social standing.
