The Importance of Asking Properly

SUMMARY: Begging should not be done in an importunate manner, as it will not bring blessings.

Abu Sufyan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah said, "Do not be importunate in begging. By Allah! If one of you asks me for something and I give it to him unwillingly, there is no blessing in what I give him". Muslim.

QUICK LESSONS:
Ask politely and humbly for things you need
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of asking properly. It teaches us that we should not beg in an importunate manner. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that if someone asks for something and he gives it to them unwillingly then there is no blessing in what he gave them. This means that if we ask for something without being polite or humble then whatever we receive will not have any blessings attached to it. We must always remember to ask politely and humbly so that our requests are answered with blessings from Allah SWT.
