EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the destructive nature of greed. It warns us that greed for wealth and fame can be more damaging to our faith than two hungry wolves sent in the midst of a flock of sheep. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was teaching us that we should not let our desire for material possessions or recognition take precedence over our spiritual wellbeing. We should strive to maintain balance between worldly pursuits and religious obligations, as too much focus on either one will lead to destruction. We must remember that true success lies in pleasing Allah, not in accumulating material possessions or seeking recognition from others.
