QUICK LESSONS:
Increase your prayers/prostrations

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the importance of prayer and prostrations in seeking companionship with Allah in paradise. Rabi’ah bin Ka’b Al-Aslami was a servant of the Messenger of Allah and one of the people from As-Suffah. He used to spend his nights with the Prophet Muhammad, and one day he asked for something from him. The Prophet asked if there was anything else he wanted, so Rabi’ah requested for his companionship in paradise. The Prophet then advised him to increase his prostrations as a way to help fulfill this request. This hadith teaches us that prayer is an important part of our faith, as it can help us gain closeness to Allah and ultimately gain His pleasure which will lead us into paradise.
