QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for good deeds regularly with sincerity & dedication .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the closeness of both Jannah and Jahannam to us. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that both Jannah and Jahannam are nearer to us than our shoe-lace. This means that they are very close, so close that it is almost as if they were right next to us. It is a reminder for all of us to be mindful of our actions because the consequences can be felt immediately. We should strive for good deeds in order to reach the highest level in Paradise, while avoiding bad deeds which will lead us towards punishment in the Fire.

The Prophet ﷺ also wanted this message to be a source of hope for believers who have faith in Allah's mercy and forgiveness; no matter how far away one may feel from Paradise, it is still within reach if one follows Allah's commands with sincerity and dedication.

This hadith also serves as a warning against complacency; even though we may feel safe from punishment due to our current circumstances or environment, we must remember that Allah knows what lies ahead for each individual person and He will judge accordingly on Judgment Day. Therefore, it is important for all Muslims to remain vigilant in their faith by doing good deeds regularly so they can reap its rewards when the time comes.
