QUICK LESSONS:
Ask Allah for guidance, piety, chastity and self sufficiency

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about asking Allah for guidance, piety, chastity and self-sufficiency. It was narrated by Abdullah bin Mas'ud who was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to recite this prayer to ask Allah for these four things in his life. By asking for guidance we are seeking help from Allah to stay on the right path and make good decisions in our lives. We should also strive to be pious which means having a strong connection with God through prayer and worshiping Him alone. Chastity means being pure in thought and action while self-sufficiency means not relying on anyone else but God alone for our needs. These values are important as they help us lead a life that pleases God and brings us closer to Him.
