Seeking Lailat-ul-Qadr in the Last Seven Nights of Ramadan

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) advised his companions to seek Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree) in the last seven nights of Ramadan.

Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: Some of the Companions of the Prophet saw Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree) in their dreams in the last seven nights of Ramadan, whereupon the Messenger of Allah said, "I see that your dreams all agree upon the last seven nights. Whosoever seeks it, let him seek it in the last seven nights". Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما أن رجالا من أصحاب النبي ، أروا ليلة القدر في المنام في السبع الأواخر، فقال رسول الله ‏:‏ ‏ "‏أرى رؤياكم قد تواطأت في السبع الأواخر، فمن كان متحريها، فليتحرها في السبع الأواخر‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about seeking the Night of Decree, which is known as Lailat ul Qadr, during the last seven nights of Ramadan. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ advised his companions to seek this night as it is a blessed night and has great rewards for those who spend it in prayer and worship. It was reported that some companions saw this night in their dreams and so they asked the Prophet ﷺ about it. He then told them that if they wanted to find this night, they should look for it during the last seven nights of Ramadan. This hadith teaches us that we should strive to make use of our time wisely by dedicating ourselves to prayer and worship during these blessed days and nights, especially during the last seven days when we can increase our chances at finding this special night.
