Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: I performed along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ two Rak'ah of optional prayers before Zuhr and two after the Zuhr (noon prayer), and two after the Friday prayer, and two after the Maghrib (evening) prayer, and two after the 'Isha' (night) prayer". Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
The values taught by this hadith are piety and devotion towards Allah Almighty through performing extra acts of worship such as optional or voluntary prayers. It also teaches us about being consistent in our faith and practice so that we can stay connected with Allah throughout our day instead of just during obligatory times like salah or fasting. Additionally, it encourages us to strive for excellence in all aspects of life including religious practices so that we can gain more rewards from Allah Almighty on Judgment Day.
