It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother" or he said "for his neighbor, what he loves for himself".
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also taught that it is important to show kindness even when someone has wronged you in some way. He said “If someone does you an injustice, respond with justice; if someone gives you a harsh word, respond with gentleness” (Hadith narrated by Abu Dawud). This means that instead of responding in kind when faced with aggression or hostility from another person, we should try our best to remain calm and act kindly towards them instead. In this way, we can help create peace between people who may otherwise be at odds with each other due to differences in opinion or background.
