QUICK LESSONS:
Put your trust in only Allah; Appreciate poetry; Recognize the perishability of all things except for Him.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Abu Huraira, speaks about the words of a poet named Labid. The Prophet (ﷺ) praised his words and said that they were true. He also mentioned that everything except Allah is perishable, meaning it will eventually come to an end or be destroyed. This includes all things in this world such as people, animals, plants, buildings etc., as well as all worldly possessions like money and fame. It also means that we should not put our trust in anything other than Allah because only He is eternal and will never perish or come to an end.
