QUICK LESSONS:
Respect for Parents , Taking Oaths Only By The Name Of God Alone .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that it is not permissible to swear by anyone other than Allah. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was asked about the people of Quraish who used to swear by their fathers, and he replied that they should not do so. This hadith emphasizes the importance of only swearing by Allah, as He alone is worthy of being sworn upon. We must remember this when we are making an oath or a promise, and ensure that we only use His name in our oaths and promises.

This hadith also teaches us about the importance of respecting our parents and honoring them in all aspects of life except for when it comes to taking an oath or making a promise - then we must only use the name of Allah. We should always strive to honor our parents in all aspects, but this hadith reminds us that even if someone else has asked us to take an oath on their behalf, we must refuse and instead take an oath on behalf of Allah alone.
