QUICK LESSONS:
Be fair and just when it comes to compensating people who have been wronged or hurt in some way; Be generous with your wealth and use it to help those who are less fortunate than yourself.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the decision made by Umar ibn al-Khattab regarding compensation for injuries. He decided that if someone was injured in the molar area they would receive a camel as compensation; if someone was injured in the collarbone area they would receive a camel as compensation; and if someone was injured in the rib area they would also receive a camel as compensation. This hadith teaches us that we should be fair and just when it comes to compensating people who have been wronged or hurt in some way. We should not take advantage of them or give them less than what is due to them according to Islamic law. It also teaches us that we should be generous with our wealth and use it to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
