This hadith speaks about the importance of spending time at the first two Jamarat during Hajj. It is narrated by Yahya and Malik that Umar ibn al-Khattab used to stop for such a long time that someone standing up would get tired. This shows how much importance he placed on this part of his pilgrimage. He wanted to make sure he was taking enough time to reflect on his actions and be mindful of Allah's presence in this sacred place. By doing so, he was able to gain spiritual insight and understanding from his experience.
