This hadith is about the prohibition to fast on two days; the day of Fitr and the day of Adha. These are two important Islamic holidays that are celebrated by Muslims all over the world. On these days it is forbidden to fast as it goes against what Allah has commanded us to do in order to celebrate these special occasions. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us that we should not fast on these days but instead enjoy them with our families and friends by engaging in activities such as feasting or giving charity. This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful when celebrating religious holidays and follow what Allah has commanded us so that we can reap its rewards in this life and hereafter.
