Give away your wealth for the sake of Allah with sincerity and generosity without expecting anything in return or taking it back later on .

This hadith speaks about the importance of giving charity with sincerity and generosity. It is narrated by Yahya who heard it from Zayd ibn Aslam, whose father heard it from Umar ibn al-Khattab. In this hadith, Umar was talking about a noble horse he gave away in the way of Allah but was neglected by the recipient. He wanted to buy it back but was advised against doing so by Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, as taking back charity is like a dog swallowing its own vomit. This teaches us that when we give away something in charity or sadaqa, we should do so sincerely without expecting anything in return or taking it back later on. We should also be generous when giving away our wealth for the sake of Allah as this will bring us closer to Him and earn His blessings in return.
