Pay your dues/taxes/zakaah honestly and truthfully .

This hadith is about the importance of paying zakat on one's property. Uthman ibn Affan was a companion of Prophet Muhammad and a caliph who ruled over the Islamic empire after him. He asked A'isha bint Qudama's father if he had any property on which zakat was due, and if so, he would deduct the zakat from his allowance. This shows that it is important for Muslims to pay their dues in order to be good stewards of their wealth and resources.
