The Importance of Early Morning Prayer

SUMMARY: It is important to go to the place of prayer before the sun rises.

Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Said ibn al-Musayyab used to go to the place of prayer after praying subh, and before the sun rose.

QUICK LESSONS:
Go to the place of prayer before sunrise every day if possible .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of going to the place of prayer before sunrise. This is known as subh, or fajr in Arabic. It is a time for Muslims to come together and pray in congregation, which has many benefits both spiritually and socially. Going early also allows one to take advantage of the peacefulness that comes with being up early in the morning before everyone else wakes up. The hadith also teaches us about discipline and dedication; it encourages us to make time for our prayers even when we are tired or busy with other things.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that those who perform salat at this time will be rewarded greatly by Allah SWT, so it is important for Muslims to make sure they attend their prayers on time every day if possible. Additionally, this hadith serves as an example for us all; Said ibn al-Musayyab was a great scholar who made sure he attended his prayers on time despite his busy schedule and other commitments - something we should all strive towards!
