EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of having strong relationships with other Muslims. It was narrated by Aiyub and it states that if the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had to choose a close friend, he would have chosen Abu Bakr. However, the Prophet ﷺ also said that having an Islamic brotherhood is even better than having one close friend. This means that it is important for Muslims to build strong relationships with each other and support each other in their faith journey. Having an Islamic brotherhood can help us stay connected to our faith and remind us of our purpose in life which is pleasing Allah SWT. We should strive to be kind and compassionate towards each other as this will bring us closer together as brothers and sisters in Islam.
