QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for friendship & brotherhood amongst each other & maintain unity on path towards righteousness .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the strong bond between the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companion Abu Bakr. It highlights the importance of friendship and brotherhood in Islam. The Prophet ﷺ was so close to Abu Bakr that if he were to take a close friend or confidant, it would have been him. However, since they were already brothers in faith and companions on their journey towards Allah SWT, there was no need for them to become closer than they already were. This hadith teaches us that friendship is an important part of our lives as Muslims; however we should be careful not to let it interfere with our relationship with Allah SWT or our commitment towards Him. We should also strive for brotherhood amongst ourselves as this will help us stay united on our path towards righteousness.
