This hadith emphasizes the importance of thinking positively and respectfully about Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It was narrated by Abu 'Abdur-Rahman as-Sulami that Ali said that if he tells us a hadeeth from the Messenger of Allah then we should think of him in a positive light. We should think that he is guided and pious. This means that we should have faith in his teachings and follow them with sincerity. We must also respect him for his exemplary character and strive to emulate it. By doing so, we can benefit from his wisdom and guidance which will lead us to success both in this world and hereafter.
