Get Married if you have the means; Fast if you cannot afford marriage; Be Modest in your behaviour towards others; Lower your gaze when interacting with members of opposite gender; Seek help from Allah when facing temptation/sinning .

This hadith speaks of the importance of marriage in Islam, particularly for young men. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised that if one has the means to get married, then they should do so as it is more effective in lowering their gaze and guarding their chastity than fasting alone. This hadith also highlights the importance of haya’ or modesty which is an important part of Islamic teachings. It teaches us that we should be modest in our behaviour towards others, especially when it comes to matters related to gender relations. Furthermore, this hadith encourages us to fast even if we are not able to get married as fasting can act as a shield against temptation and sinning.
