Leaving Behind Charity

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that what is left behind after death should not be inherited, but rather given away as charity.

It was narrated that 'Umar said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'We are not to be inherited from; what we leave behind is charity'.

QUICK LESSONS:
Give away possessions as charity after death

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that when we pass away, our possessions should not be inherited by our family members or friends. Instead, they should be given away as charity to those in need. This is a way of leaving behind a legacy of kindness and generosity for others to benefit from. It also shows us the importance of giving back to society and helping those who are less fortunate than ourselves. By doing this, we can ensure that our good deeds will live on even after we are gone.
