Be mindful when choosing food items; Follow example set by beloved prophet Muhammad ?
EXPLANATIONS:
According to the hadith narrated by Jabir bin 'Abdullah and 'Umar bin al-Khattab, the Prophet of Allah did not prohibit eating lizard meat. However, he found it unappealing or off-putting. This means that while it is permissible to eat lizard meat in Islam, it is better to avoid doing so as the Prophet of Allah found it distasteful. This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful of what we consume and be aware that certain foods may not be pleasing to God even if they are permissible for us to eat. We should also strive to follow the example set by our beloved Prophet Muhammad ? in all aspects of life including food choices.
