Ask Allah SWT sincerely with humility & repentance .

This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad teaching Abu Bakr as-Siddeeq a du’a to say in prayer. A du’a is an Islamic term for supplication or asking Allah for something. In this case, it was a prayer asking Allah for forgiveness and mercy. The Prophet taught him to say “O Allah, I have wronged myself greatly and no one forgives sins except You, so grant me forgiveness from You and have mercy on me, for You are the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." This teaches us that we should always ask Allah for forgiveness when we make mistakes and that He alone can forgive our sins. It also reminds us of His great mercy and compassion towards us even when we make mistakes or do wrong things. We should always remember that He will forgive us if we sincerely repent and ask Him with humility and sincerity.
