Sunan Ibn Majah 3987 (Book 36, Hadith 62) #33342
Glad Tidings for the Strangers

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that Islam began as something strange and will go back to being strange, so glad tidings to those who are strangers.

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah said: "Islam began as something strange and will go back to being strange, so glad tidings to the strangers".

QUICK LESSONS:
Remain true and steadfast in your faith , strive harder , remain strong in your beliefs .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of being a stranger in the eyes of Allah. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that when Islam first began it was considered strange by many people. He then went on to say that it will eventually go back to being strange again and gave glad tidings to those who are strangers. This means that even though there may be times when people don't understand or accept your beliefs or practices, if you remain true and steadfast in your faith then you will receive blessings from Allah. It also teaches us not to give up on our faith just because others don't understand it or accept it; instead we should strive harder and remain strong in our beliefs so we can receive blessings from Allah.
