Embarrassment as a Moral Compass

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) taught that one should not do something if they are not ashamed of it.

Narrated Abu Mus'ud: The Prophet said, "One of the sayings of the prophets which the people have got is, 'If you do not feel ashamed, then do whatever you like".

QUICK LESSONS:
Use your sense of embarrassment as a moral compass when making decisions in life .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) taught us an important lesson about morality and guidance. He said that one of the sayings of the prophets is "If you do not feel ashamed, then do whatever you like". This means that we should be guided by our sense of embarrassment or shame when making decisions. If we are embarrassed to do something, then it is probably wrong and we should avoid doing it. On the other hand, if we are not embarrassed by something then it may be okay to do it. In this way, our sense of embarrassment can act as a moral compass for us in life and help guide us towards making good decisions.
