Remain patient during difficult times; Have faith that whatever happens is part of God’s plan; Hope for Allah’s rewards; Believe nothing will befall you except what has been written for you by God; Stay steadfast in your belief even when faced with trials or tribulations.

In this hadith, narrated by 'Aisha, the wife of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, we learn about how plague is a punishment sent by Allah on whom He wishes. However, it can also be a source of mercy for believers who stay in their country patiently and trust in Allah's will. If one stays patient during an epidemic plague and hopes for Allah's reward while believing that nothing will befall them except what has been written for them by God, they will receive the reward of martyrdom. This teaches us to remain patient during difficult times and to have faith that whatever happens is part of God's plan. We should not lose hope or give up our faith even when faced with trials or tribulations because we may find blessings within them if we remain steadfast in our belief.
