EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Abu Hurairah, speaks of the importance of seeking knowledge and praising Allah in all situations. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to pray to Allah for benefit from what He has taught us, as well as for Him to teach us that which will benefit us. He also asked us to increase our knowledge and always praise Allah no matter the situation we are in. Lastly, he asked for refuge from the torment of Hellfire. This hadith teaches us that we should always seek knowledge so that it can benefit ourselves and others around us, while also remembering to thank God for everything He has given us no matter what situation we are in. We should also remember to ask God for protection from the punishment of Hellfire at all times.
