Using the Prophet's Name

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad advised people to call themselves by his name, but not to use his Kunyah.

It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah said: "Call yourselves by my name but do not call yourselves by my Kunyah".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ تَسَمَّوْا بِاسْمِي وَلاَ تَكَنَّوْا بِكُنْيَتِي
