Forgiveness Through Greeting

SUMMARY: Two Muslims who meet and shake hands will be forgiven before they part.

It was narrated from Bara bin Azib that the Messenger of Allah said: "There are no two Muslims who meet and shake hands, but they will be forgiven before they part".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنِ الأَجْلَحِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ ـ ‏ "‏ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ فَيَتَصَافَحَانِ إِلاَّ غُفِرَ لَهُمَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَتَفَرَّقَا

This hadith speaks of the power of greeting between two Muslims.
