The Healing Power of Dust and Saliva

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the Prophet ﷺ using a combination of dust and saliva to cure a sick person, with the permission of Allah.

It was narrated from 'Aishah that one of the things that the Prophet used to say for the sick person, with saliva on his finger (dipped in dust), was: "Bismillah, turbatu ardina, biriqati ba’dina, liyushfa saqimuna. Bi’dhni Rabbina (In the Name of Allah, the dust of our land mixed with the saliva of one of us, to cure our sick one by the permission of our Lord)".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about how Prophet Muhammad used to recite a special dua for those who were sick, with his saliva mixed with dust from the land. He would do this by asking Allah for permission to heal them. This shows us that we should always turn to Allah in times of need and ask Him for help, as He is our only source of healing and strength. We should also have faith that whatever happens is by His will, as He knows what’s best for us even if we don’t understand it at first. Additionally, this hadith teaches us that even something as simple as dust can be used in miraculous ways when combined with faith in God’s power.
