QUICK LESSONS:
Be content with what you have, strive for simplicity in life.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us that the Prophet Muhammad had a glass cup from which he would drink. This is an example of how the Prophet was humble and did not need to use expensive items for his everyday needs. He was content with what he had and did not feel the need to show off or be extravagant in any way. This teaches us that we should be content with what we have and not try to show off or compare ourselves to others who may have more than us. We should also strive for simplicity in our lives, as this is something that the Prophet himself practiced.
