This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's encouragement of riding sacrificial animals. It is narrated that a man brought a sacrificial animal to the Prophet and he asked him to ride it. The man was hesitant because it was meant for sacrifice but the Prophet insisted that he should ride it. He then saw the Prophet riding it with a sandal tied around its neck. This hadith teaches us that we should not be wasteful and use things in our possession wisely even if they are meant for sacrifice or any other purpose.
