EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of riding animals, even if they are sacrificial animals. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ saw a man driving his camel and advised him to ride it instead. He said “woe to you” which means that he was disappointed in the man for not riding the animal himself. This hadith teaches us that we should take care of our animals and not make them do all the hard work while we sit back and relax. We should also be mindful of how we treat our animals, as Allah has given us responsibility over them. It is important to remember that sacrificing an animal does not mean that we can mistreat or neglect it in any way before or after sacrificing it; rather, we must take care of our animals at all times.
