Sunan Ibn Majah 3049 (Book 25, Hadith 168) #32403
No Harm in Doing Things Out of Order

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was never asked about someone who had done one thing before another, but he would gesture with both his hands to say that there is no harm in that.

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: "The Messenger of Allah was never asked about someone who had done one thing before another, but he would gesture with both his hands to say: 'There is no harm in that.’"

QUICK LESSONS:
Show compassion and understanding towards others.
EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ibn 'Abbas tells us that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was never asked about someone who had done one thing before another, but he would gesture with both his hands to say that there is no harm in doing so. This teaches us the importance of flexibility and understanding when it comes to matters of order and sequence. It also shows us how merciful and forgiving the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was towards those around him. He did not judge or criticize them for their actions; instead, he showed them compassion and understanding. This is a lesson we can all learn from today - no matter what order we do things in or how we go about our lives, as long as it does not cause any harm then it should be accepted without judgement or criticism from others.
