Give charity on behalf of those who have passed away.

This hadith is about the importance of giving charity on behalf of a deceased person. It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that a man asked the Messenger of Allah if it would expiate for his father who had died and left behind wealth, but did not make a will. The Prophet replied that it would indeed expiate for him.
