QUICK LESSONS:
Abide by Islamic teachings, Uphold moral values

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) warned against having sexual relations with a Mahram relative and an animal. A Mahram is someone who is related to you in such a way that marriage between the two of you would be considered incestuous. For example, your father, brother, sister or mother are all considered to be your mahrams. Having intercourse with any of these relatives is strictly forbidden in Islam and carries severe consequences. The Prophet also warned against having intercourse with animals which is also strictly forbidden in Islam. He prescribed death as the punishment for both of these acts according to Islamic law known as Ḥadd which means “limit” or “restriction” in Arabic. This hadith serves as a reminder that we should always strive to uphold our moral values and stay away from any kind of immoral behavior that goes against Islamic teachings.
