This hadith speaks about the punishment for slave women who commit fornication. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah, Zaid bin Khalid and Shibl that they were with the Prophet and a man asked him about what to do with a slave woman who commits fornication. The Prophet advised that she should be whipped, even if it is with a rope of hair. This hadith teaches us that those who commit sins must face consequences in order to learn from their mistakes and refrain from repeating them in the future. It also shows us how important it is to follow the teachings of Islam as prescribed by the Prophet himself.
